Story:

Yet, the reckless exploitation of this newfound energy triggered the awakening of ancient Earth deities. Subsequently, a catastrophic flood submerged continents and consigned sophisticated human civilizations to the ocean's abyss, almost obliterating all traces of society.
Scarce survivors eked out an existence on desolate isles, reverting to their primal faith in the once-dormant gods. Their reverie was disrupted when the tide carried ashore something other than flotsam—Limnoreia, an enigmatic sea dweller. Her arrival bore news of a looming crisis in her dwindling deep-sea refuge.
